Evolution Steel/Crittall Replacement Windows

Evolution offers a modern aluminium thermally broken replacement to steel windows or Crittall windows as they are often referred to. Taking its inspiration from traditional steel windows, Evolution features signature slim sightlines and attractive contours plus polyamide thermal break technology. The combination delivers enhanced thermal performance and minimised sightlines.

Evolution provides the ideal solution for listed building renovations, heritage applications and any other refurbishment projects where planning constraints are to be considered.

The Evolution window has been desinged to be built as a series of horizontal modules which can be stacked using horizontal couplers to form multi-part windows featuring a specially designed drip bar between modules.

Applications:

• Fixed windows.
• Single or double sash open out casements.
• Top hung open out casements.

Materials:

• Aluminium Alloy 6060/6063 in condition F22 to NBN P21-001 and DIN 1725.
• Complies with BS EN 12020-2:2001/BS755-9:2001.
• Thermal Break: Polyamide strips PA 6.6. 25% glass fibre re-inforced.
• Seals: EPDM to DIN 7863, TV 110 NFP 85301, ISO 3994.

Finish:

• Polyester powder coating to BS6496/APA- Qualicoat guidelines.
• Single Colour standard RAL, non-standard RAL or Bristish Standard (BS) colours.
• Dual Colour standard RAL, non-standard RAL or British Standard (BS) colours.
• Smart’s unique Sensations range of textured colours.
• Marine Grade quality as standard, (Marine Guarantee subject to application)
• Anodised satin or bronze colours with EWAA/EURAS-Qualinod quality label.

Window Energy Rating (WER):

• C
• Document L 2010 Approved.

Weather Test Results:

• Tested in accordance with BS6375 Parts 1 & 2.
